I-70 West at Sheridan Blvd

I love that turn on I-70 west when you come around the bend and there on your left is Berkeley Lake and Lakeside Amusement Park and up ahead is all that purpley mountain majesty as far as you can see.

Today I hit that curve around 4pm and it was getting stormy, the clouds were doing this crazy pink-blue thing and the mountains were snow covered.

I tried to take a photo on the side of the highway; didn’t turn out so good (plus it was probably carelessly dangerous of me). So here’s a photo I took of the tower at Lakeside on the way home, which also brings me enormous joy.
