A Subtle Reminder

There was so much sad news coming from Haiti today.  It’s hard to not feel overwhelmed, let alone find much joy.  But I came home from work this evening and my paper white bulbs had flowered.

It reminded me that even in times of great sorrow we are expected to stop and acknowledge our blessings. Like pretty little white blossoms on a January evening.
